Build Launch Complex 0b100111a

Settlers at Duskworks Landing are working together to build the launch complex at Launchpad 0b100111a. Building out the launch complex will greatly ease the logistics for new settlers to reach Waterloo City. Below are the Buildings players will be using to donate materials and score points in the brand new Aerospace Launch Tournaments.

Planetary Projects Inc. (3D Print Shop)

Layin’ Bricks! - Jesse LeBou is supervising the construction launch pads for Launch Complex 0b100111a. Thousands of units of concrete, sulfur and water are being sought for the mass production of the Refractory Concrete Hexagonal Bricks.

Beowulf's Forge (Vulcan Metalworks)

Barn Raising! - Wayne a.k.a “Beowulf” at Duskworks Landing is organizing work parties to create the Hangars. He is thirsty for all sorts of Metals, Energy and Labor to create these Hangars.

ALFA Microbial Research Center (Water Filter)

ALFA Tournament - Dr. Jan Spacek based in Duskworks Landing is conducting an advanced search for extant Martian microbes. The work has been producing an array of microorganisms that have shown that Martian microbes share the same ancestry with ancient Earth Archaean microbes. A private donor on Earth has been impressed with this project and has stepped up the funding!

Marisol's Garden (Greenhouse)

Waterloo City’s Greenhouses have Failed!

Saboteurs from the Greens in Waterloo City have introduced a pathogen to the great greenhouses of Waterloo City! As a result, Marisol of Waterloo City has ordered all of the current crops to be destroyed and deep irradiation of the greenhouses. Marisol has issued a call for food production from the settlers, as well as soil to restock the greenhouses.

Hello, fellow settlers of Mars! My name is Dr. Jan Spacek, and I am a scientist and engineer at Duskworks Landing. I am personally inviting you to join me for a new tournament, where you can help me study the ice on Mars, and search for extant microbes.

As you may know, I have built a Water Filter building at Duskworks Landing, and I am collecting ice from the surface of Mars to study it. In this tournament, you can score points and earn valuable rewards by donating ice to my Water Filter building. The more ice you donate, the more points you will earn, and the higher your chances of winning.

This tournament is based off the real-world ALFA Mars project (Agnostic Life Finding Association – Mars), which aims to find existing life on Mars before humans arrive. To join this tournament, simply open the tournament window by clicking on the Trophy button on the left side of the screen. Then, enter the tournament by paying the entry fee of 1000 ice. You do not need to donate ice to the Water Filter to join the tournament. However, if you want to score points and increase your chances of winning, you can visit the Water Filter building at Duskworks Landing, and donate 1000 ice. This will help me in my research, and it will also earn you points in the tournament. The tournament will last 11 hours, and it will have a 1 hour long cooldown. The entry fee is 1000 ice, and there is a minimum of 10 settlers that can join, and a maximum of 100.

At the end of the tournament, we will hold a raffle, where the players with the most points will have a chance to win valuable prizes, based on their rank in the tournament. Here are the prizes that are available:

• 1st-3rd place: Ground Control Station Schematic

• 4th-8th place: Aerospace Research Paper + the rewards from the Consolation prize

• Consolation prize: Random Profession EXP, 1-10 ALFA Tokens, 1% chance for a Ground Control Schematic, and a 5% chance at an Aerospace Research Paper.

So if you want to help me in my research, and earn valuable rewards in the process, I encourage you to join us for this exciting tournament. Open the tournament window, enter the tournament by paying the entry fee, and then visit the Water Filter building at Duskworks Landing to donate ice and earn points. As a scientist and engineer in Duskworks Landing, I am pleased to invite you to participate in our latest tournament, Grab a Hopper. This tournament is being held to help fuel our Aerospace ventures and support our mission to explore and expand on the red planet.

To join the tournament, simply click on the Tournaments Button (Trophy icon) on the left side of your screen. The tournament is a raffle style, with a minimum of 1 settler and a maximum of 10,000 settlers able to join. The tournament will last for five days, with a 1 day break in between. The entry fee is 30 Oxygen and 10 Methane, a small price to pay for the potential rewards.

The rewards for this tournament are as follows:

• 1st-3rd place: Hangar Schematic

• 4th-6th place: Velociraptor Engine Schematic

• 7th-10th place: Launchpad Schematic

• 11th-20th place: Rocket Fuel Factory Schematic

• 21st-50th place: Fuel Tank Schematic

• 51st-200th place: 10-25 Aerospace Research Papers

• 201st-1000th place: 2-5 Aerospace Research Papers

• Consolation prize: 1 Aerospace Research Paper

To score in the tournament, simply donate Oxygen and Methane to the Fuel Tank building on the hexagon in the Duskworks DTM. The more you donate, the higher your chances of winning. By donating these essential gases, you will be helping us advance our Aerospace technology and make progress towards sustainable space travel on Mars.

I'm Wayne "Beowulf", an engineer at Duskworks Landing. I'm in charge of constructing our new Hangars and I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty. In fact, I'm so gruff and tough that I once built a Hangar with just my bare hands (okay, maybe I used some tools too). That's why I'm inviting you to join our latest tournament, Barn Raisin'. This tournament is all about building Hangars and we need your help in supplying metal, energy, and blueprints to construct them.

To join the tournament, simply click on the Tournaments Button (Trophy icon) on the left side of your screen. The tournament is a raffle style, with a minimum of 10 settlers and a maximum of 100 settlers able to join. The tournament will last for 11 hours, with a 1 hour cool-down in between. The entry fee is 100 Steel, a small price to pay for the potential rewards.

To score in the tournament, simply supply smelter and machine shop blueprints, as well as iron, aluminum ore, steel, and aluminum plate to me at my Vulcan Metalworks Building in the Duskworks DTM. The more you supply, the higher your chances of winning. By donating these essential resources, you will be helping us build our Hangars and advance our Aerospace technology on Mars.

The rewards for this tournament are as follows:

• 1st-3rd place: Vulcan Metalworks Schematic

• 4th-11th place: Aerospace Research Paper + Consolation Prize

• Consolation Prize:

  • 1 Beowulf’s Sword Artifact Shard

  • Random Professional EXP

Remember, 100 Artifact shards can be combined to make an Artifact Building, a special version of the building that takes up no space and gives out currency every so often.

We will supply smelter and machine shop blueprints, as well as iron, aluminum ore, steel, and aluminum plate to score in the tournament. You will supply these to me at my Vulcan Metalworks Building in the Duskworks DTM.
